The
South of England is great fun, with lots of castles and historic towns to keep
you busy. The area is easily covered by car in about 2 days or you can travel
from London by coach to many of the main towns for less than £10. You
can go by train as well but with the current state of the railways that's probably
not such a good idea.
How
to get there...
There
are so many places to see and there is always something worth stopping for:
ancient monuments, druid ruins and rolling English countryside. But there are
some stops you simply cannot miss: the Roman town of Bath, Brighton, Stonehenge,
Dover Castle and Leeds Castle.
