January 16 We're fresh back from an amazing trip to Japan. Although it is a very expensive country to travel in, we both enjoyed it immensely and took in as much good food, awe-inspiring temples and sake as we could handle. The highlight of the trip was probably the beautiful temple towns we visited like Nikko and Nara. We also really enjoyed a few quiet evenings in the Japanese Onsen -- hot baths -- which warm you from tip to toe and are so relaxing after a hard day of sightseeing. We arrived home on Friday night and are just now getting over the jetlag. On Monday it's back to work, which will be an adjustment after such a long break. We took about 900 pictures in Japan, and that was just on the digital camera, so there will likely be more to come in the next week or so, but for now we've put together a "best of" album that we hope you'll enjoy.
