I took this shot because I really liked the lines
of the straight road and the tramlines running through it. Taking
the shot meant that I had to stand in the middle of the road though,
which Andrew wasn’t thrilled about, but I did it anyway J

Luxembourg
is surrounded by a huge valley, which the city has turned into parkland.
You could literally walk for hours around the perimeter of the city and
never think you were near a town. The valley is really a key to why the
town survived for so long without being attacked. Getting troops up that
hill is no easy task.

The
valley from another angle. If you ever find yourself in Luxembourg, there
is a youth hostel in the valley that you can stay in for a good price. The
downside is, of course, that you have to walk up to the city, about a 15
minute hike, every day!
