Andrew, with the harbour of Wachet -- a small town on the edge of Exmoor park -- behind him.

Friedel on the hiking trail we walked for a few hours in Exmoor park, near a tiny village called Bosington.

More views from the hiking trail.

There were many secluded beaches to explore and apparently the area is rich with fossils.

Another view of the beach.

Andrew on the edge of the trail. The water we hiked beside is the Bristol Channel, between Wales and the West Country.

Farmland runs right up to the water's edge. This view is enjoyed by at least one farmhouse.

On our way back to London, we stopped at a gliding club just outside Bristol, where Andrew got his first taste of flight.

A glider coming into land -- surprisingly smooth.
